These Terms apply to humeband.us and the Hume Health mobile app (collectively, the "Services"), both operated by Hume Health Corp. Placing an order, creating an account, or using the Services in any way means you're agreeing to what's here.

1. Age Requirements

Purchasing through humeband.us or setting up a Hume Health account requires being 18 or older — or the legal adult age wherever you are located. The Hume Band is not designed for children, and collecting data from anyone under 13 is not something we do intentionally.

2. What Placing An Order Means

An order submitted through humeband.us is your offer to purchase a Hume Band (and any add-ons like the extended warranty) at the price shown at checkout. In limited circumstances — suspected fraud, a pricing error, or a stock issue — we may decline that offer, in which case a full refund follows automatically.

All prices are shown in USD unless otherwise stated. Prices may change without advance notice, but never retroactively for an order already confirmed.

4. What The Hume Band Is — And Isn't

The Hume Band is a consumer wellness product intended to illuminate patterns in everyday health and lifestyle data over time. It is not a medical device under any regulatory definition, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. Every reading it produces — biological age, metabolic momentum, illness indicators — comes from sensor data processed through proprietary algorithms and should be understood as an estimate, not a clinical measurement.

Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making any medical decision. If something feels seriously wrong, seek help immediately — don't defer to what the app is showing.

5. Responsibility For Your Account

Anything that happens under your Hume Health login is your responsibility. Keep your credentials secure. If something looks wrong with your account, notify us right away.

6. Prohibited Uses

Reverse-engineering the Hume Band's hardware or software in ways that violate applicable law is not permitted. Nor is using our Services to infringe on others' rights or attempting unauthorized access to our systems.

7. Intellectual Property

"Hume Band," "Hume Band US Official Website," "Hume Health," and all associated branding are owned by Hume Health Corp. The hardware design, the app, and every piece of content on humeband.us are protected by copyright — nothing may be reproduced without explicit written permission.

8. Liability Limits

Beyond the concrete warranty described in our Refund & Returns policy, the Services come with no additional warranties, to the extent permitted by law. Hume Health Corp is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the product or Services.

9. When These Terms Change

These Terms are updated from time to time, with each revision reflected in a new "Last updated" date at the top. Continuing to use the Services after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the consumer and commercial laws applicable to the jurisdiction where Hume Health Corp is incorporated, without applying conflict-of-law rules that would point elsewhere.
