Buying a health wearable without trying it first means placing some trust in the seller. Here's exactly what we stand behind if the Hume Band doesn't click for you.
45 Days From The Day It Arrives
The moment your Hume Band reaches you, a 45-day window opens to return it for a complete refund — no reason required. That window doesn't close if you've worn it every day, taken it swimming, or put it through hard workouts. Your eligibility stays intact either way.
How To Start A Return
- Contact support through the Hume Health app or the email address on your order confirmation, and let us know you'd like to return your purchase.
- A prepaid shipping label will land in your inbox within approximately 1 business day.
- Pack the band, strap, and charging cable in any available box — original packaging isn't required.
- Drop the parcel at a carrier location using the prepaid label.
- Once we receive and inspect the return, your refund is processed back to the original payment method within approximately 5–7 business days.
What You Get Back
You're refunded what you paid for the device itself. If the optional 10-Year Warranty was added and the band is also being returned, that add-on refunds at the same time — there's no longer anything for it to cover once the device is gone.
Who Covers Return Shipping
We do, completely. As long as your order was placed through humeband.us and the return falls within the 45-day window, the label costs you nothing out of pocket.
A Few Things Worth Knowing
- This guarantee applies to purchases made directly through humeband.us. Orders placed through third-party retailers are governed by that retailer's own policy — we can't extend our terms to purchases made elsewhere.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method used at checkout — we can't redirect them to a different account or card.
- Missing the 45-day window doesn't automatically close all options — warranty repair or replacement may still be available, depending on the situation.
Requesting Warranty Service
Every Hume Band ships with a 1-year hardware warranty covering genuine manufacturing defects — sensor malfunctions, charging failures, or a strap that fails under normal daily wear. Customers who added the optional 10-Year Warranty at checkout have that protection extended across the full decade from their purchase date.
To open a claim, contact support with your order number and a brief description of the issue. Most hardware defects are resolved with a free replacement unit shipped directly to you.
Prefer A Different Size Instead?
If a strap size or color swap is what you're after rather than a refund, mention that when you reach out to support. Exchanges are typically faster to process than a full return and reorder.
